Recently, I have been seen a TV show on good morning America ABC station. It has been inspired me a lot in my life. It really touches my heart. The TV show's name is 'music saves lives'. There is a band names flame. Its members all are disabled people. Even the leader singer Michelle king looks like a normal person, but she is an dearly autist. They always make people happy when they go somewhere. Now they are well-known on the way. They have their own T-shirt, CD, and tour bus. After I saw this show, I deeper realized that how music can help a disable band heal and strong! If let me to describe the music for here, I would say it is a healing power of music. Music is a kind of pop culture. So I always think pop music can leap pop culture. Enjoy music! Enjoy life!

For example,the famous building water tower, famous sculpture…etc. Meanwhile, we had visited in Apple Company and Disney. We chose that companies to symbolize how pop culture around the world. In addition, we had interviewed two people. They will talk which they would prefer, pop culture or high culture? And why they prefer that one. Overall, whether it is high or pop culture, in depend on how you would like and follow it.

In this modern society, it is a technologic society. people use to use I- touch, I-phone, computer, 3G-phone...etc anywhere any time. Some of them use for socializing other people. Some of them use for working. Some of them use for habit. We cann't imagine how it important is! If we don't have them, it will greatly decrease people's working efficiency and strong comunication. I think now we can't live without cell-phone. It is because we need to use it a lot in our life. For example, there is no limitation on where you are and whoever you want to talk to. If we don't have it , when we go somewhere, we will easy to get lost. Or even we cann't talk to someone whatever you want. Therefore, we can't live without cell-phone.

In 1997, Titanic released in the united state. It had ever made the most grossing movie in the united state. James Cameron is the director and the writer. Leonardo Dicaprio (jack Dawson), Kate Winglet(rose Dewitt Bukater), and bill Zane(cal Hockley) are the main actors. The movie is talking about a love story, it is not only a simple love story , also. It involved faith, courage, and sacrifice.The ship was thought to be unsinkable. But the true was sinkable. Because of that it pushes the love story to the climax of the movie. Especially the theme song “my heart will go on.” It suits this movie very much. I think no other song can replace it as Titanic’s theme song.
In addition, I had ever read a movie review, Its name was" The Mist'. the writer's name was Mike Bracken. After that , I also had ever watched this movie. If let me talk about my respons. I would say I don't agree that writer. It was because this reviewer evalued the ending was so insipid and awful. But I thought this ending should be more interesting and inspire lots of our life. On the other hand, this writer didn't mention the sound and the pictures of the movie. If he did that it might grad more readers' attention to watch that movie. i thouht it couldn't be a good movie review.

I liked listening to music since I knew music. My musical interests and tasks had been influencing my style. I used to listen to music when I was along. For instance, Michael Jackson is my favorite artist. His musical genre are consisted of rock, pop , Jazz, R&B, hip hop, classical, country, folk, world music.In the middle, pop music is my favorite part. Also I chose the song"you are not along" for my the lovest song. It was because it had inspited me a lot in my life. Even thought Michael Jackson let go already, but his music culture will keep in my mind forever.

My response about article------what Obama’s text message campaign reveals?After I read this article, I was shocked by it. I thought Obama really was a smart technologist. He used this kind of effective device to win a president. In the world, so far, Obama is the only one person that succeeds by using text message to win a president. That would be a huge effect in the future. Meanwhile, Surely I think this kind of marketing campaign will become more popular in others elections. Maybe the next American president will keep using this way. Especially this society is a technology society. People use texting anytime anywhere. No one can imagine how development of technology will be! Therefore no one would not like it. Anyway, I think I would like to follow it. And I try to use it as a part of my life.

I like American culture. Especially the pop culture, When I just came here，I was easy to accept it。Also I was easy to adapt this new live environment。For example, I like go to church whenever I have time。I want to make more American friends that can help me to improve my English skill。I have noticed the sex culture，but I reject it all the time。It is because maybe Im a traditional person and my country culture is quite different with here，I could`t accept too open sex culture。That`s my opinion on pop culture。So far，I think pop culture always can lead the time。It is no matter where it is and when it is。
After I have taken this class, I have knew more about of pop culture. It is because pop culture collects objects，people，event，and places to reflect this society。Studying from it，I can gain lots of new valuable things in my mind。After that， I use the connection to evaluate all of my aspects in the society。I would try to figure out what kind of life style will suit me. And which part of pop culture I should follow it. That`s why we should study popular culture.

I have learnt the most important thing in this unit is how to identify humanity's culture. For example, I chose this picture . it is because I want to introduce my hometown's culture to everybody. It's name is tai shan city. It's located west of hong kong, and on the southwest of china. It's a small beautiful famous city in my country. It's natural scenery consists of tall mountains, hillsbasins, plains and beaches. Tai shan is also reputable in its volleyball activities. Another wellknow is as china's first homeland for overseas chinese. Some of the overseas chinese they carried "the pride of chinese people" in a foreign land. For example in my posters' Gary locke, Adrienne Clarkson, and Jimmy woo.....ect. I proud of them.
